GRANTS

THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF OMTOWN GRANTS HELP CERTIFIED YOGA TEACHERS BRING YOGA TO PEOPLE IN OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES WHO HAVE LESS ACCESS TO YOGA INSTRUCTION. Current grants are being honored while new applications are not being accepted for the time being due to the pandemic. 

omTown grants have provided teachers support to teach yoga including movement, meditation and breathwork to school children, immigrants, recovering addicts and others in need in our communities. We look forward to the day to restart grant-giving.

SCHOLARSHIPS

THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF OMTOWN SCHOLARSHIPS HELP STUDENTS PURSUE THEIR GOALS OF EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION IN LOCAL YOGA TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAMS. Current scholarships are being honored while new applications are not being received at this time due to the pandemic.

omTown scholarships are intended for students who bring diversity to our local teaching community, and in so doing have the inherent potential to help diversify yoga community by "meeting people where they are" simply in being who they are. This is an aspect of enlarging the accessibility of yoga. omTown is proud to have dozens of scholarship recipients &  graduates and several local YTT partners over the recent years and is eager to restart this program when it is possible.
